In the era of westerns, many things in the late 50's and early 60's were Western movie inspired - clothing, home furnishings, automobiles, and of course movies and TV shows. The factory colors of this Catalina are listed as Palomino Beige over Fawn interior, fitting for this Western inspired era. Round up the family and you could be singing the very well known 'Happy Trails' tune by Roy Rogers as you roam the American roads in this classic Pontiac.

This body style was a 2 year only production run - '59 and '60. It is very similar to the Oldsmobile 88, Chevrolet Biscayne, and Buick LeSabre and all were priced within a few hundred dollars of each other. Options and trim levels varied between the aforementioned GM full size sedans, but the overall size and attractive styling was very similar. A prominent chrome grille, muted color options, comfortable interiors, and small fins on the rear fenders are just a few of the styling highlights of this Catalina.

Bubble top lines on this Pontiac are unmistakable, and paired with the Palomino Beige exterior and American Racing wheels, this car is easy on the eyes! This big Pontiac still wears most of the original paint (code RR) and exterior trim and bumpers are in great condition.

The expansive and comfortable interior is still finished in its original color combination of Fawn (code 209). There are a few upgrades to be found inside the car, a pair of auxiliary gauges were neatly installed, a newer than the standard radio has been added in the form of an AM/FM/Cassette radio, and newer speakers have been integrated. Other than those things, the interior is standard right down to the 'Pontiac' letters that stretch across the dashboard trim. A big V8 resides under the hood of this classic sedan. Pontiac's 389ci V8 mated to a HydraMatic automatic transmission gives this big car a good amount of get-up and go.
